Dr. Zack Graham
Principal Investigator
I am an evolutionary and behavioral ecologist focused on understanding how and why animals (especially crayfishes) are so diverse. Ultimately, my goal is to untangle the ecological and evolutionary complexities that have led crayfishes to be amongst the most successful freshwater animals within the Eastern United States and beyond. Currently, I am an Assistant Professor of Biology in the Department of Organismal Biology, Ecology, and Zoo Sciences at West Liberty University, West Virginia.
Graduate Students
Kaine Diehl
Kaine is a M.S. Biology student who is conducting a comprehensive survey of the crayfish fauna of the Susquehanna River Basin in Pennsylvania. His research hopes to shed light on the success of invasive species in this area as well as identifying species with diminished or potentially extirpated populations. Kaine is co-advised with Dr. Zac Loughman
Jimmy Krochamal
Jimmy is a M.S. Biology student who is conducting a comprehensive survey of the crayfish fauna of the Delaware River Basin in Pennsylvania. The Delaware River Basin houses two species of concern: Cambarus aff. accuminatus, and Faxonius limosus. Jimmy's research hopes to asses the current distribution and conservation status of these two species in Pennslyvania. Jimmy is co-advised with Dr. Zac Loughman
